PEOPLE are only just realising that they can get Prime energy drink as part of a supermarket meal deal – but there’s a catch.
Shoppers can buy a Prime drink as part of Co-op‘s lunchtime meal deal.

It comes after the retailer started stocking two flavours of the viral beverage in its supermarkets last month.
The supermarket’s meal deal comes with a main, for example a sandwich or a pasta pot, and a side for £4.
But Co-op members can get the meal deal for £3.50.
A membership costs £1 and customers can access the retailer’s new member prices to help shoppers save money.
Despite the huge popularity of Prime, some fans are only just finding out that they can pick up the drink as part of the deal.
Posting in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group, one shopper said: “Prime in Co-op as part of their lunchtime promotion ( Sandwich, Snack and Drink ) £4 or if you have a Co-Op saver card/app £3.50.
“I managed to get a Sandwich and Pasty( down as a snack) and a bottle of prime.”
Fellow bargain hunters were quick to comment, with one writing: “Good deal”, and another saying “Thank you, I’m going to my local to check now”.
If you don’t want to buy Prime as part of the meal deal, you can pick up a bottle for £2.39.
Asda shoppers can also get their hands on Prime for £2.
But don’t get caught out, because the supermarket doesn’t offer the drink as part of its meal deal.
So if you’re feeling peckish and fancy a sandwich and snack alongside Prime, you’ll have to head to your local Co-op.
You can find your nearest store by using the locator tool on the supermarket’s website.
Rapper KSI put aside his boxing rivalry with US Youtuber Logan Paul to launch Prime in 2022.
The pair said they wanted to create a drink that would rival Pepsi, Coke, Powerade and Gatorade.
What is the Prime drink?
The Prime drink comes in seven flavours: Ice Pop, Blue Raspberry, Tropical Punch, Lemon and Lime, Meta Moon, Orange and Grape.
All the drinks are made up of 10% coconut water and come with B vitamins, BCAA’s for muscle recovery and electrolytes.
All seven flavours are currently sold out on the official Drink Prime website.
The drink is also currently on sale in the US.
The drinks were created by YouTube megastar Logan Paul and KSI, who have nearly 50million subscribers combined.
We tested Prime to see if it lived up to the hype but found that one flavour tasted like soapy water.
Meanwhile, we tried DIY Greggs from supermarkets – and one sausage roll gave us a big surprise.
