PEOPLE are only just discovering cars have a hidden feature which makes it much easier when they are filling up with fuel.
The TikTok user known as “lasegadora” took to the social media site to post a brief clip revealing the handy hack.

Under the post “I was today years old when I discovered this” it showed someone unscrewing the petrol cap and then placing the cap in a slot fitted into the flap.
The nifty trick then keeps the cap out of the way while the driver fills up with petrol.
While the car used appears to have been a Nissan Juke it would appear that not all makes and models have this feature.
The post has picked up some 36,500 likes and nearly 300 comments.
The tip was clearly new to many people who questioned why they hadn’t know about this before.
One person wrote: “One time my dad left the gas cap at the gas pump. We had to go back for it. This trick would have been useful.”
Another said: “Help. Why do I keep learning things I should of know 10 years ago.”
A third commentator added: “Definitely didn’t know this.”
However, another commentator expressed the view of many by writing: “Mine doesn’t have one.”
Elsewhere, a driver was left fuming after discovering someone had parked in their driveway.
User @u/TheToiletDestroyer shared a post on social media to vent their frustration.
A BMW driver shared a picture of his car after leaving it at Stansted airport.
Reddit user u/ENTPrick uploaded a picture of their bumper hanging off, along with the reason why the car looks like that.
The user said in the comments: “There was one to call the car park manager.
“Allegedly, one of the staff had forgotten to put a handbrake on a van, so it rolled into me (this morning!).
“They’ll process the claim, but I think I’ll request getting it checked and the bumper replaced via a BMW garage, at their expense, of course.
“Boot is playing up so I think I’ll insist on a thorough check.”
