SMARTPHONE cameras have improved leaps and bounds – and they continue to get even better.
But with so much choice, which handset is the right one for photography fans?
Samsung, Oppo and Honor have all launched new phones in the last few weeks
We take a look at three brand new Android devices that have you covered.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra
Best for: Mega zooms
Photo is pretty clear considering it’s zoomed in on top of a roof
The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra packs a load of lenses that produce stunning shots.
With four lenses in total, the main one is 200-megapixels.
But the standout has to be the shockingly good zoom, producing clear shots of objects quite a distance away.
It’s thanks to two 10 megapixel zoom lenses – one with 3x f/2.4 zoom and the other at 10x f/4.9 zoom.

Honor Magic5 Pro
Best for: Moving shots
Pets who refuse to stay still come out really clear
Everyone knows how tricky it is to capture decent photos when there’s even the slightest bit of movement.
Well, Honor’s new Magic5 Pro does a good job of sorting it out.
It uses AI Motion Sensing technology, which is capable of automatically detecting the highlight moment you want.
The feature will automatically detect facial expressions such as smiles and body movements like jumping.
Honor recently launched the Magic5 Pro but an exact release date is yet to be announced – it’s expected sometime before June this year.
Oppo Find N2 Flip
Best for: Selfies
OppoUse your main camera for selfies – not the tiny one on the display[/caption]
Everyone knows that the main back camera always has the highest spec, while the selfie lens is much smaller.
But that’s not a problem for the Oppo Find N2 Flip.
This flip phone features a huge screen on the back when it’s closed that not only allows you to do the usual phone functions, but also see through your main dual lenses.
So you can take a good quality selfie with its 50-megapixel wide-angle camera and 112° ultra wide camera.
And as it’s a flip phone, you can easily fold it into the desired angle you like and not have to hold it or balance it on objects.
