LOCALS have had their cars smashed up and covered in spray paint telling the owners to “move” in an apparent row over pavement parking.
Residents on Glover Street in Leigh, Greater Manchester, woke up this morning to find several vehicles had been targeted with bright yellow paint.

The incident has sparked discussion about pavement parking amongst locals, with some suggesting the cars were targeted because they were blocking pedestrians.
But others have lashed out at the vandalism, calling it “appalling”.
One online commenter said the way the cars were parked meant buggies and wheelchairs would not be able to get through, branding it “not acceptable”.
However, others defended the drivers, saying they “don’t deserve this”.
One local said: “Unfortunately a lot of our streets aren’t wide enough for the amount of cars to park up so sometimes it’s necessary to park partly on the pavement.
“I know and can understand how this isn’t good, but they should leave enough room for disability scooters and prams.”
Another joked that the vandal “clearly can’t spell” and that they could hardly make out the graffiti.
The Sun Online contacted the Greater Manchester Police for comment but was told the incident had not yet been reported to them.
Last month, residents of Randolph Crescent in Maida Vale, London, woke up to find the tyres of their family SUVs had been deflated by a group of climate thugs.
The group targets family SUVs by deflating the cars’ tyres, which they claim are “gas guzzlers” and “killers”.
Earlier this year, a woman was left both baffled and angry after her brand new car was vandalised.
Emily Hobbay, 31, found her Vauxhall Crossland with its windows broken and “ginger c***” and “greed” spray painted on the sides in Dudley, Birmingham, back in March.
She had no idea who the vandal is but believes it could likely be a case of mistaken identity as she has brown hair, not ginger.
