It is reportedly over between Natalie Portman and her husband of 11 years Benjamin Millepied.
According to Us Weekly, the couple have gone their separate ways after trying to work through 46-year-old Millepied’s alleged affair with a 25-year-old climate activist, which was first reported in June.
“After news of his affair came out, they’ve been trying to work on their marriage but are currently on the outs,” an insider claimed to the outlet.

It comes days after Portman, 42, was spotted in Sydney without her wedding ring on the estranged couple’s 11th wedding anniversary – a stark contrast to her appearances at the French Open and a Paris Saint-Germain football match in Paris in the days after the cheating scandal broke, where the Thor: Love and Thunder star was seen lifting her ring-adorned left hand up for the cameras.
“Natalie believes Benjamin’s affair was a brief and stupid liaison that means nothing to him,” a source told Us Weekly when the alleged affair came to light.
The source noted at the time that Portman was “humiliated” by the cheating rumours but “willing to see if she’s capable of rebuilding her trust” so their two children wouldn’t “grow up in a broken home.”
Yet, another insider claimed Portman was unsure if she and Millepied could rebuild their relationship after his alleged breach of trust.
”Right now, they are talking and working on it together for the sake of their children,” the source claimed, saying at the time that Millepied “regrets” the alleged affair.
Millepied’s alleged infidelity was first reported in an article from French media outlet Voici on June 2, with sources later elaborating to People that the supposed affair was “short-lived and it is over.”

“He knows he made an enormous mistake and he is doing all he can to get Natalie to forgive him and keep their family together,” the source claimed at the time.
“Natalie is incredibly private and has no intention of playing this out in the media. Her biggest priority is protecting her children and their privacy,” the source continued.
Portman and Millepied first met on the set of 2010’s Black Swan, which saw Millepied direct his future wife’s choreography.

The estranged couple are notoriously private, however, Portman did gush about her husband in a rare comment given during a SiriusXM Town Hall interview in 2018.
“I met my husband on it, so I think I was in, like, dreamland,” Portman said at the time.
“He was teaching me to dance. You know, one of those romantic [stories]… It was definitely exciting and fun. It was beautiful. I don’t know about instant. It was like I really got to know him and that was when it seemed like, ‘Oh this is the person.'”
They married in 2012, after welcoming their son, Aleph, in June 2011. They also share a daughter, Amalia, who was born in February 2017.
