Oasis rocker Noel Gallagher admits he is battling forgetfulness while performing his songs

Iconic singer Noel Gallagher has performed hundreds of concerts in his time, but now the 56-year-old has admitted that it’s getting harder to recall lyrics on stage.

The star confessed to battling forgetfulness while performing hits he created with his younger brother when the pair were performing as Oasis.

Gallagher cited the “ongoing march of time” as the reason he is now struggling with forgetfulness and suggested her may one day need to use an teleprompter, The Guardian reported.

“I’ve found myself on this tour consciously thinking: ‘What is the next line to this song?'” Gallagher, who is currently touring with his band the High Flying Birds, said. “It’s like, you’ve just got to think about it.”

The former bandmates reportedly made plans to attend a Manchester City game together at the time or go for a walk around their North London homes after Noel said Liam could “give [him] a ring” and put their long-running feud to rest so they could reunite the band.

“Noel and Liam are in contact behind closed doors. They are tentatively taking steps to meet up and rebuild their relationship,” a source told The Sun.

The insider claimed “the wheels are in motion” for the brothers to reunite on-stage and put their 14-year-long feud – which included a dramatic backstage fight in Paris after their final concert in 2009 – behind them.

“There’s a lot of lost time to make up for and both have missed out on ups and downs in each other’s lives,” the source added.

”They need to patch up their brotherly bond before they even think about getting back in the studio for an Oasis reunion, but the wheels are in motion.”
