THE NHS has sent confidential vaccination letters to wrong addresses and dead people, The Sun on Sunday can reveal.
More than 3million not registered with a GP received invitations to book their flu and Covid jabs this autumn.

They were contacted by email, text, and post.
But Emma Wilkinson, of East Peckham, Kent, posted on Facebook: “Got NHS letters for the people who bought our house from 20 years.”
On Monday, Yasmin Heskey, from Trent near Telford, Shrops, shared a picture of a similar NHS letter sent to her house.
She said on Facebook: Does anybody know this man? I’ve received a couple NHS letters for him with my address at Trench.
“I returned the last one and wrote on the envelope that he doesn’t live here but they’ve sent another today.”
On Wednesday Tricia Kay, from Waltham Abbey, Essex, shared a photo on Facebook of two NHS letters addressed to the same person, which had been delivered to her house.
She wrote: “Hearing lots about NHS letters getting delivered to the wrong address – does anyone know who this may be as we have received two over the last couple of days and wanted to check if anyone knows who they are before I return to sender.”
Aamnah Rahman said on Twitter/X: “Just got home to find a letter addressed to my mother who died 20 years ago.”
NHS England said: “We appreciate this may have been upsetting for those who received it.
“We’re working as quickly as possible to investigate.”
