Next Premier League manager sacked: Frank Lampard odds-on favourite, David Moyes and Graham Potter prices slashed

FRANK LAMPARD is favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave his position.

That’s according to bookmakers Sky Bet, who’ve priced the Everton boss at 4/9 to be relieved of his duties at Goodison Park.

Southampton’s Ralph Hasenhuttl, 55, was the sixth Premier League manager to depart in the 2022-23 campaign.

Scott Parker, Bruno Lage, Thomas Tuchel and Steven Gerrard were dismissed by Bournemouth, Wolves, Chelsea and Aston Villa respectively.

Graham Potter, meanwhile, left Brighton to take over at Stamford Bridge in September.

But who’s next in the firing line?

As stated, Sky Bet think Lampard is the most likely top-flight boss to depart having slashed his price from 4/1 to 4/9 shortly before the World Cup hiatus.

Lampard, 44, replaced Rafa Benitez on Merseyside in January and was praised for helping to navigate Everton away from the relegation zone.

But 15 games into the campaign, the club now hover a single point above Nottingham Forest, Southampton and Wolves in the drop zone.

Things appeared to be heading in the right direction when securing successive wins over West Ham and Southampton, but it’s been downhill since October.

The Blues have been defeated in six of their last eight in all competitions, and lost to the Cherries 7-1 on aggregate after their Carabao Cup and Premier League encounters.

David Moyes is next in the betting market at 3/1.

The Hammers suffered a fourth defeat in five Premier League matches when losing 2-0 to Leicester in November, and are also a point above the relegation zone.

Moyes’ side have won just four League games all season and he’s under increasing pressure to turn the tide.

Chelsea’s Graham Potter follows best at 8/1, ahead of Leeds’ Jesse Marsch and Steve Cooper, who are locked together at 12s.
