Work began on Everton Stadium, based at the Bramley-Moore Dock in Liverpool, in 2021.

The luxury arena will allow nearly 53,000 fans to enjoy the action on match day.

Current stadium Goodison Park holds close to 40,000 supporters.

And Everton hope to move in to their new home during the 2024/25 stadium.

The entire project is estimated to cost a whopping £500m.

But the rewards are already becoming plain and clear, with Everton Stadium being selected as a host venue for Euro 2028.

And new video footage has shown some of the amazing progress that has already been made.

The arena is set to boast an incredible single-tier end which can hold 13,000 Toffees supporters.

It is based on Borussia Dortmund’s famous ‘Yellow Wall’ stand, which holds 25,000 fans.

And a clip showed that blue seats are currently being installed to turn it into a fortress, with all concrete terracing units in place too.

It certainly makes for a daunting sight, with the stand appearing to be incredibly steep.

The video also showed various angled glass panels along the face of the stand, allowing it to reflect the water from the nearby dock.

The feature is in keeping with the new stadium’s maritime theme.

And giant speakers have also been erected as part of a huge PA system in all four corners of the ground.

Fans were certainly loving the progress, with one saying: “These vids brighten my day. Just looks astonishing.”

Another declared: “Love all the glass, very classy, gonna be something else once finished.”

One noted: “Spurs’ stadium is amazing but this is off the scale. A genuine work of genius.”

Another added: “Actually quite emotive viewing, it’s breathtaking.”
