Netflix Killer Robot show is ‘stuff of NIGHTMARES’ say terrified fans who can’t sleep and fear Terminator will come true

NETFLIX fans have declared humanity is “screwed” after watching the brand new Unknown: Killer Robots.

Some viewers have been left so terrified by the gloomy powers of AI that they’re struggling to sleep.

People believe Terminator is becoming more probable after watching the documentary

And many others feel the chilling programme felt all too reminiscent of the Terminator movies.

The four-part series looks at how AI-powered robots are changing the face of warfare.

Episode one debuted on Monday.

“@netflix’s “Unknown: Killer Robots” is fascinating, thought-provoking, and the stuff of nightmares,” one user wrote on Twitter.

“People who keep trying to push the boundaries of AI technology, beware!” another warned.

“Killer robots are no joke. Binge watch the Netflix series to find out what could happen if you don’t take AI seriously.”

Another added: “Watching Unknown: Killer Robots on Netflix…Yeah, we’re SCREWED.”

Even expert Dr Sean Ekins has said he’s barely slept over the potential threats.

In it, he reveals how he worked tirelessly to harness an AI technology that discovered non-toxic molecules to cure diseases.

But when he was asked to deliver a speech to experts about the dangers of AI – a simple test he devised to show off its capabilities went drastically wrong, and he was called into the White House.

Overnight, his supposedly life-saving machinery had come up with ideas for 40,000 chemical weapons, many of them more lethal than the deadly VX and Novichok.

Over on YouTube, other viewers commented, saying: “The old Terminator movies are starting to seem like a more and more probable future for humanity.”

Another responded: “It’s like we’re living in a Terminator movie. I can’t believe this.”

The series is available now on Netflix
