Neighbour divides opinion after using GLUE to stick raging note to car in parking row – whose side are you on?

A RUDE resident has divided opinion after using GLUE to stick raging note to a car in a row over parking.

The note was left on the original poster’s car, which had blocked the access to their neighbour’s garage completely.

The note, which the garage owner glued to the car, read: “You are f***ing b***** and an idiot you will not find peace as long as you park here I have warned you.”

The incident has many Reddit users taking the side of the author of the note.

One person was infuriated: “100% justified. What if there’s an emergency and they have to get to the hospital in a hurry?

“What if they need to pick somebody up and can’t get out of the garage? You’d have to be a moron to park like that.”

Another commenter said the note was justified, but gluing it on the windshield was not: “Gluing it on is not justified, and although I doubt that they will go to the bother to identify the culprit could get you into bother for damage.”

The photo revealed a parking ticket alongside the threatening note, suggesting the owner of the vehicle had left it there for a long period of time.

Others shared their stories of rude neighbours parking on their property.

One user suggested an alternative to the situation was to check if your local council has parking enforcement.

They replied: “I called my local one recently for a car blocking drive. They arrived in about 40mins and gave the car a ticket,”

“Yes, it was still there until owner moved it but they haven’t done it since.”

Metropolitan Police recommends a three phase approach to dealing with cars that may block your driveway or garage.

They said: “If you can find the owner of the vehicle, we’d first recommend asking them politely to move it.”

“If you can’t find them, try leaving a note on their windscreen. After all, they may not realise they have caused a problem. If this doesn’t work, please contact your local council.”

Some users managed to find humour in the note: “You will not find peace” is going to be my new go to when trying to correct someone’s behaviour.

“It sounds like a magical curse.”
