Need for Speed Unbound — Fastest car in each tier

NEED for Speed Unbound is the first game in the series for three years, and it has been a surprising hit with fans.

Some of the later races can get a little difficult, so you’ll need a good car in order to get ahead.

However, just like in real life, some of the cars in Need for Speed Unbound are quite expensive, and frankly not worth the price tag.

Need for Speed Unbound: Best B Tier car: Porsche 911 Carrera S (1997)

On the basic settings, the Porsche 911 Carrera S comfortably outspeeds every other car in the B tier.

Not only does it boast a high maximum speed, but it balances this out with decent traction control too.

If you can only afford a low-tier car, then this is the one to go with.

Need for Speed Unbound: Best A Tier car: BMW M3 Coupé (2010)

The next step up from the Porsche is the BMW M3 Coupé, which is by far the best vehicle in its class.

It’s a bit harder to control, but if you are a cautious driver, it should take you to the top of the board.

There’s a steep learning curve with this one, but worth it once you get to grips with the handling.

Need for Speed Unbound: Best A+ Tier car: Aston Martin DB11 (2017)

The A+ tier is when cars start to get seriously fast, and the Aston Martin DB11 is the best of the bunch.

This one is a smooth ride, and with it, you should be able to easily win any A+ tier race.

The only downside is the price, but once you pay the $155k, it’s smooth sailing from there.

Need for Speed Unbound: Best S Tier car: Lamborghini Murciélago LP 670-4 SV (2009)

We spoke about the BMW lacking handling, but you haven’t seen anything until you sit in the Lamborghini Murciélago.

However, the huge burst in speed makes up for it as you swerve your way across the finish line.

If you thought the Aston Martin was expensive, just wait til you drop $335k on this Lambo.

Need for Speed Unbound: Best S+ Tier car: Bugatti Chiron Sport (2019)

Bugatti is a company known for its speed, and the Chiron Sport is no exception to the rule.

No traction, no brains, all reactions and redline speed. You have to go with your gut to master this one.

It’ll cost you $3.6 million in the game, but if you can hit that top speed, it’s worth every penny.
