NEARLY 500 dodgy doctors have been struck off in the past seven years, latest figures show.
Some of the 474 were axed for misconduct — including groping patients and bodging operations.

Those “erased” last year include a Hungarian medic, 70, who failed English tests six times and left a boy of four fighting for life.
Royal Manchester paediatrician Dr Gyorgy Rakoczy, who gave the boy a carbolic acid overdose, blamed “ageist” tests.
Dr James Farthing, 28, was struck off after grooming a “girl of 13” on social media.
The married junior doctor, who worked in Stockport, blamed working long hours in the pandemic.
And a “reckless” doctor was banned after prescribing puberty blockers to a transgender child of nine after a quick video chat.
Michael Webberley, 55, who ran a private online clinic, was willing to prescribe sex change drugs and puberty blockers to children as young as 12 without asking them to fully consult a doctor.
The Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service figures show more than one doctor a week has been struck off since 2016.
Last year 72 of the UK’s 315,000 doctors saw their registrations erased.
The regulators’ annual report said: “Our tribunals make independent decisions about doctors’ fitness to practise based on our objective to protect the public.”
