NATE DIAZ was caught up in a wild street brawl last night after a controversial appearance at a Misfits boxing event which also included him hurling a bottle at an actor.
Sun Sport has contacted the 38-year-old UFC legend for comment after he attended the show in New Orleans to support his fighter Chris Avila.

The Stockton Slugger then went viral after he threw a bottle of water at Netflix reality star Chase DeMoor with security forced to step in and break up the melee ringside.
DeMoor, who has starred in Netflix’s Too Hot To Handle and Perfect Match, was disqualified from his own preliminary card fight against Stevie Knight after unleashing a barrage of punches which led to an in-ring brawl before his ugly row with the MMA ace.
DeMoor later tweeted: “Nate Diaz decided to get mad and throw a prime bottle on me, that’s cute bro.
“Just next time don’t run. And stop spending your nights in the club trying to use your dried up MMA career to pull college girls while you’re out in New Orleans.”
But that was not the only altercation that Diaz would end up involved in.
A video has now been spreading online of the cage fighter involved in an altercation in what appears to be outside the New Orleans’ XULA Convention Center.
With a crowd watching on, Diaz is seen brawling before putting his arm around the man’s neck, with the unidentified individual then seen lying on the concrete.
The MMA fighter is currently preparing for his pro boxing debut after it was confirmed this month that he would face Jake Paul in a 185lb catchweight bout at the American Airlines Center on August 5th in Dallas, Texas.
He was a free agent after his contract with Dana White’s UFC promotion ended.
Diaz beat Tony Ferguson at UFC 279 in September in the last fight of his deal with the MMA company.
Boxing has been a staple throughout the veteran’s near two-decade career.
He has 22 fights as an MMA pro, including a victory over Conor McGregor.
And he plans to return to the octagon again after shutting up YouTuber Paul.
On that fight, Diaz said: “Besides Canelo he’s the biggest thing in boxing. I’m here to conquer that.
“I’m the king of combat sports and then I’m headed back to get my UFC belts.
“I f***ed up Conor for acting out and now here I am again, like a Super Hero of the Real Fight game, the King of the Real Fight game.”
Surprisingly, rival McGregor tweeted after last night’s clip went viral: “Hahaha Nate on a rampage tonight! Let’s go Nate! Hahaha.”
UFC chief White was also filmed watching the street scenes, and he commented: “He knocked him out! Whoever that is he knocked him out. He’s going to get sued like a motherf****r’.”
