My neighbour is using my Ring doorbell to get revenge after I put up a fence to keep their kid out of my garden

A WOMAN has revealed how a row over garden space has intensified after she put up a fence to keep out her neighbour’s son.

Her back garden connects to the neighbour’s front garden and there was no fence up originally.

Neighbour is heard very loudly talking about them

The 52-year-old decided to put up a small chicken wire fence as the 10-year-old boy next door would step onto her space and stand “staring in our home”.

But the child’s mum doesn’t appear to have taken kindly to the move.

She’s now started “talking quite loudly outside” about them so it’s picked up by their Ring doorbell.

The unnamed person is worried the mum next door thinks she might be spying on her and could use it to escalate the situation.

“It faces our car, the front door and street,” she said about the Ring doorbell.

“It does sometimes catches them driving or walking by.

“Is this bad? Am I doing things wrong?

“can not talk to the mom because she will just yell at me.

“She has yelled and threatened another neighbor who moved out.

“I don’t feel comfortable in my backyard.”

Commenters on Reddit responded to the concerned woman saying she’s not in the wrong.

“Your neighbor has issues,” one said.

Another responded: “I lived in a duplex with nightmare neighbors who stole packages and tried to break in while I was sleeping.

“I got a camera so fast.

“Moved out as soon as the lease was up.”
