My girlfriend left me for £148m lottery winner Adrian Bayford – karma will get them but I won’t let it ruin my life

A MAN whose girlfriend left him for £148million lottery winner Adrian Bayford says that karma will get them in the end.

Mark Newman, 56, says he was “happily settled” with ambulance worker Tracey Biles, 45, an old friend of mega-rich Adrian.

Mark believed he and Tracey were in love after instantly hitting it off in 2018 while working as bus drivers in Colchester, Essex.

But the dad-of-four was stunned when she ditched him for the EuroMillions winner — and moved into his £12million mansion.

He claims everything changed when they visited Adrian the following year as Tracey became “so flirty” and kept calling him “darling”.

Mark says as soon as Adrian showed interest in her, Tracey raced out of the two-bed semi they shared and moved into ex-postie Adrian’s country estate in Cambridgeshire.

But heartbroken Mark said that he believed “karma” would come back to sting the new couple in the end after what he sees as a betrayal.

He exclusively told The Sun: “I’m still really angry as clearly they don’t understand what they’ve done to me.

“I’m sure Karma will come back to bite them.

“But they’re not a thought in my head anymore. There’s more to life and more important things to focus on like my children and my work.”

The dad-of-four has accused the new couple of exchanging steamy sex messages before she moved out in September last year.

Adrian and Tracey were pictured together for the first time as they went shopping together in Tesco.

Mark said of The Sun’s exclusive pictures yesterday: “Of course Adrian looks happy as he’s finally got what he wanted.

“It just goes to show what money can buy. He’s smiling like the cat who’s got the cream.

“They’re probably still shopping in Tesco despite having all that money as clearly neither of them have much taste, so to speak.”

Mark previously said Tracey had occasionally mentioned she was pals with Adrian from their younger days.

He said: ” In September 2022 Tracey told me she was staying at her parents’ house — but she wasn’t there.

“So I phoned her and she admitted she was out at Adrian’s.

“She just said he was a friend helping her out — but it was clearly so much more than that.

“She told me, ‘I’m staying here. I’m not coming back’.”

Adrian had been unlucky in love since splitting from wife Gillian, 51, a year after hitting the jackpot and dividing their winnings.

He became the second biggest UK Euromillions winner ever a year after Colin and Chris Weir, of Largs, Ayrshire, scooped £161million.

An anonymous ticket-holder currently holds the record after pocketing £195million in July 2022.

It trumped Joe and Jess Thwaite, of Gloucestershire, went public on their £184million win in May that year – and another anonymous £170million win in October 2019.

Multimillionaire lotto winner Adrian said this week from his £6.5million country estate at Linton, Cambs: “I am just getting on with my life”.
