She took to TikTok to share a look at the list, which included things such as “Squishmallows, Mini Brands, pink iPad mini, Apple pencil and iPhone 12”.
However, it was the final two things on the list that made Suzy’s “heart sink”.
“More friends”, her daughter had written, as well as “less bullying to me”.
“When you get your eight-year-old daughter’s Christmas list,” she wrote over the video.
“My heart sank.”
Suzy also added in the caption: “I wasn’t going to post this, but you know what.. this is being 8 yrs old in 2022 and maybe we should be talking about it..”
People in the comments section were left equally heartbroken by the list, with one writing: “I teach elementary school. This breaks my heart.”
“Ugh my heart, poor baby, show us the bullies! Take that letter to the school! demand action,” another added.
“This made me cry,” a third commented.
“My daughter is 8. This would break me.”
“Bullying affects so many kids, but it gets better it just takes time, be safe and much love to you and your family,” someone else added.
“This broke my heart,” another mum wrote.
“My daughter was bullied so terribly from 2nd – 8th grade.
“She finally found a friend group in musical theatre. Good luck.”
