MUMS are saying they “can’t believe they never thought” of an easy way to banish mould from hard-to-reach places.
The TikTok user known as ‘Cleaning with Charlotte’ gives out cleaning and organising tips and tricks to her 35,700 followers.

She explained the novel little trick which costs less than £3 in a brief clip called “If it’s got a hole, it’s growing mould”.
At the start the voiceover says: “Show me the life hack that you randomly saw one day” as Charlotte holds up an ordinary looking yellow rubber duck, popular with youngsters at bathtime.
The caption then changes to: “It’s most likely growing mould.”
The social media influencer then gets a pair of scissors and cuts the head off, showing the inside.
Once the plastic duck has been decapitated the caption on screen reads: “How to stop the mould build up?”
Charlotte then grabs a cheap glue gun and fills in the hole at the base of the toy of another toy duck.
The caption says: “Super glue the hole shut BEFORE it’s had any contact with water.
“Always remember: ‘If it’s got a hole it’s growing mould.”
Online shoppers can easily pick up a “mini hot melt glue gun” on the Hobbycraft website for just £2.50.
Commentators were bowled over by the ingenious little hack.
One person said: “This hack! I never thought to do this when mine were little. Love this!”
While a second wrote: “Brilliant idea.”
A third person added: “So smart.”
