Posting on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group, one shopper said: “Not my thing, but spotted these in M&S in Preston.
“£29.50 reduced to £11. There were a few sets left.”
Bargain hunters were quick to comment – tagging their friends so they could also see the bargain find.
The set contains four dinner plates, side plates and bowls made of white porcelain.
M&S describes the set as durable, resistant to cutlery marks and dishwasher safe.
But, the discounted kitchen essential is only available in-store, and shoppers will need to be quick to get it while stocks last.
The set is currently out of stock on the M&S website, so you’ll need to visit your nearest store if you want to buy it.
You can find your closest M&S using the store locator tool on its website.
It’s possible that the item might not be available in all stores – so you might want to call ahead to check and avoid a wasted trip.
Retailers often introduce big discounts on old stock to make way for new items at the start of the season.
But you should always have a quick shop around first as you might be able to find a similar product cheaper elsewhere.
Use price comparison tools like Google Shopping to find similar products from other retailers and compare prices.
We found a plain 12-piece dining set on sale at M&S for £15 – but the reduced deal is still the cheapest.
Dunelm is also selling similar sets, but they are priced must higher at £22.
The M&S deal is the cheapest we’ve seen online for this type of kitchen essential.
