Paul, 66, a retired photographer, has owned four tanks in his life, having bought his first one back 1993 after realising you can legally drive them on roads.
The Sabre was first introduced into service with the British Army in 1994 but had been taken out by 2004.
It weighs around eight tonnes and has a 5.9-litre diesel engine allowing it to reach speeds of 50mph.
The Sabre was designed as a highly manoeuvrable Reconnaissance vehicle to search out the enemy and radio back their position.
