The most common complaints were carpet burns, bruises, back and other muscle strains and twisted ankles.
The survey of 2,000 Brits found four per cent who said they had been KO’d during a romp.
But the figure was up to nine per cent for randy residents of Cornwall, Dorset and Devon, according to the research by sex toys retailer Lovehoney.
And men were three times more likely than women to suffer a bonk on the bonce.
Greg Scott, 33, of Maidstone, Kent, fell off the top bunk on a sleeper train during a romp with his girlfriend and was knocked spark out for a couple of minutes.
He said: “After getting a bit frisky, I went to move on top and just dropped like a rock to the ground.”
Sex and relationships expert Ness Cooper commented: “Having sex in new locations can be a great way to spice up your sex life, but it increases the likelihood of injury.”
