Slow cookers are one of the most energy efficient kitchen appliances, according to the Energy Saving Trust.
So with energy bills rising, it’s a tasty way to save the pennies.
On average, they use about as much energy as a standard electric light bulb.
So even if they are left on a low heat all day – experts say they use less energy than if it was cooked faster in a conventional oven.
The appliances are perfect for a novice cook or someone who’s always on the go and doesn’t want to spend too much time in the kitchen.
And it couldn’t be simpler. All you have to do is cut up a load of meat and veg, chuck it all in and leave it to stew.
It comes as shoppers have gone positively wild after Morrisons began selling off suitcases super cheap – with prices starting at just £7.99.
So for all those with a holiday coming up or have a shabby suitcase and need an update, then listen up.
One savvy shopper noticed the epic deals when browsing the aisles in her local store.
Thrilled with her finds, Libby Barker took to social media to alert other shoppers.
In this brilliant suitcase sale, you’ll find four different-sized black Manoukian cases.
The extra small cases, which are 20x30x47cm, are just £7.99 each.
Meanwhile, the small cases, which are 22x34x58cm, are priced at £17.99.
If you need something bigger, there are medium cases for £24.99, which are 26.5x41x67cm and cost £24.99 each.
Last week, The Sun looked into best supermarket loyalty schemes and price matches.
We found that although loyalty prices may be cheaper than regular ones, they aren’t always the best deal on offer.
For example, Sainsbury’s charges regular shoppers £2 for a nine-pack of KitKat bars, reducing to £1.65 with a Nectar card.
But Asda is cheaper than both at £1.50 without a loyalty discount.
But luckily, Laura Purkess broke down the perks of each loyalty scheme and weighed up which supermarket offers the best value.
