AN MMA prospect had died aged 16 after being KO’d by a vicious spinning head kick.
The incident happened after the teenager was reportedly allowed to fight by a judge without the protection of headgear.

According to the rules in Russia, all participants that are underage must wear helmets in order to compete.
The rule states that 16 to 18-year-olds in the amateur MMA in this area are required to wear the headgear.
However, reports claim that the boy was allowed to fight without it.
The 16-year-old had been competing at the Open MMA Cup of the Rodina Sports Club.
Footage online shows the moment that his opponent landed a spinning head kick.
After receiving the blow, the 16-year-old then falls to the ground and lost consciousness.
It is then claimed that he died en route to the hospital in an ambulance.
However other reports have claimed that he died at the hospital after being rushed into intensive care.
The MMA Union of Russia and the investigating authorities are said to be checking the situation to find out what happened.
And people on social media have sent their condolences to the child and his family.
One tweeted: “Right to the back of the head as well. Prayers for him and his family.”
A second wrote: “That is sad.”
While a third said: “This is terrible.”
