MILLIONS of Samsung users can get a free upgrade to a service where they can save hundreds of pounds on their next phone purchase.
Samsung’s latest android phones, the Galaxy S24, S24 Plus and the S24 Ultra are currently creating a buzz, thanks in part, to its big AI features.

Some potential buyers may have been put off over the price though with prices starting at £799 for the 128GB Galaxy S24, soaring up to £1,549 for the 1TB Galaxy S24 Ultra.
But help is at hand in both the UK and the US with Samsung offering trade-in promotions.
While trade-in deals are nothing new, this one may be just a little bit different.
UK trade-in deals
As long as it is a smartphone you can get a sizeable £100 off the purchase price of a new device – no matter what condition your existing phone is in.
Even if your phone has a broken display or if the battery is so run down it only lasts a couple of hours, that doesn’t matter and the discount still applies.
Customers could save even more with the website claiming you can “save up to £370” and shows you what amount you can get off with different brands of phones, including Apple, Google and Huawei, as well as others.
Anyone with an old Google Pixel 7 Pro is entitled to £270 off, while if you have an Apple iPhone 14 gets you a £300 reduction and if you have a Samsung Galaxy S23, you save £320.
In the middle of the list, it says: “Guaranteed Trade In – Any Device”.
Once you’ve found your new device, you need to follow the instructions to get your discount.
Apply the discount when you purchase, putting in the IMEI number and the condition of the phone.
Once bought, you have to wipe your old phone and remove the SIM card and return it to Samsung in the supplied freepost packaging within seven days.
Customers should be aware of the small-print which says: “£100 based on any smartphone, in any condition.
“Purchased phone will be blocked if you don’t send us your Trade In device. T&Cs apply.”
Galaxy S24: Colours and costs
There are several colour options available, including:
Galaxy S24 Ultra: Titanium Grey, Titanium Black, Titanium Violet and Titanium Yellow.
Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 colours include: Onyx Black, Marble Grey, Cobalt Violet and Amber Yellow.
Extra exclusive colours will be available from Samsung.com
Prices start at £799 for the 128GB Galaxy S24, all the way up to £1549 for the 1TB Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Customers who pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra from Samsung.com can get double the storage for the price of the lower storage model, with savings available of up to £200.
All prices in this article were correct at the time of writing, but may have since changed.
Always do your own research before making any purchase.
US trade-in deals
Deals are also available across the pond too and maybe worth checking out if you happen to be travelling to the US any time soon.
Trading-in a Galaxy S23 Ultra would normally get the user $450 (£356) off the purchase price of a new Galaxy S24 Ultra but that discount has now risen by $300 (£238) to a substantial $750 (£594).
Similarly, a Galaxy Z Fold5 would have previously got $500 (£396) off the price of a new Ultra but that has now also gone up to $750.
Anyone deciding to switch from Apple to Samsung can also make significant savings.
If you have an Apple iPhone 15 Pro or 15 Pro Max, you would have originally saved yourself $520 (£412) and $540 (£428) respectively but this is now raised to $750.
Meanwhile, any smartphone from another Android brand gets you a saving of $100 (£79).
Although the UK deal covers phones in any condition, there are some restrictions in the US where it has to be in good condition.
This means the device turns on and the screen works normally, the charging port works and the battery holds a charge, there are no cracks in the front, back, screen or camera lenses, activation locks are disabled, accounts are removed and the phone is factory reset.
As well, in order to get the hefty discounts, the phone can’t be on a banned list.
So while there are some restrictions, if you qualify you can make some significant savings.
