They kicked-off pre-season with a 1-1 draw against German outfit Nurnberg last week.
And they will next be in action tomorrow when they face an MLS All-Stars team.
Arsenal have already been busy in the transfer market this summer, sealing the £105m arrival of midfielder Declan Rice from West Ham.
He became their third new arrival after the £40m capture of defender Jurrien Timber from Ajax and the £65m signing of attacker Kai Havertz from Chelsea.
But fans were shocked to see another new face training alongside their heroes in the States yesterday – although it is one that Arteta knows well.
His teenage boy, Gabriel, was seen taking part in an open training session at the George Mason University in Washington DC.
He was kitted out in a full Gunners kit that his GA initials emblazoned on the red top and a pair of grey Adidas shorts.
It was a training shirt that is also used by other coaching, and according to the Daily Mail, he did not get too involved in the session.

They say that he “milled around the 15-minute session without seeming to directly participate”.
Pictures released on social media showed Gabriel facing another coach as players Rob Holding, Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Eddie Nketiah were crouched down into some coloured cones as part of their training.
Gabriel is the eldest of Arteta’s three sons and has two younger called Daniel and Oliver.
Meanwhile, despite his big outlay already, Arsenal insisted on Monday that more new arrivals could be coming through the door.
He said: “Let’s see (about more signings), there’s still a lot of time left in the market.
“There’s a lot of expectations in some of our players, so we will have to see how things develop in the next couple of weeks.
“We will be alert, there’s still time to do things and there’s still time for exits obviously.”
