Gawn and Jessica welcomed their first child, a son named George Oliver Gawn, in 2021.

Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, of course, have two sons as well – Prince George, 10, and Prince Louis, five.

Gawn’s George was born just one month after the Melbourne Demons won their first premiership in 57 years on September 25, 2021, a victory that was led by Gawn as captain.

The ruckman was named captain of the Melbourne Demons at the start of the 2020 AFL season.

A basketballer and rugby union player since childhood, Gawn made his AFL debut in 2011 after first being drafted in 2009, and has since become a six-time All Australian.

He and Jessica met early on in his AFL career, but she didn’t agree to date him until a year later.

They then got engaged in 2018, with Gawn getting down on one knee at the Queenstown Hill Summit in New Zealand.

Gawn and Jessica married on New Year’s Day in 2020, at Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula.
