MCDONALD’S has made a huge change from today, adding eight new items to its menu and bringing back some fan favourites.

Fans of the fast food giant will be able to get their hands on a brand new Spicy Big Tasty from today.

The Big Tasty is coming back but with a new spicy version

It comes with a 100% beef patty, made with Emmental cheese, lettuce, bacon, tomato and the classic Big Tasty sauce with a jalapeno kick.

If that doesn’t tickle your fancy, then McDonald’s is also bringing back its original Big Tasty and the Big Tasty with bacon.

For McDonald’s fans who like to get creative with their McNuggets, the restaurant chain has introduced two brand new dips.

Customers will be able to choose from the Mega Hot Sauce dip or a Garlic Mayo dip.

And now that the weather is finally getting warmer, shoppers might want to pick up either a Wispa McFlurry or a Wispa Gold McFlurry.

Also returning to the menu, and something fans will probably be most excited for, are the famous halloumi fries.

Fans can get a pack of four cheese sticks coated in a light batter, served with a rich tomato dip.

These have returned for the second year in a row.

But, they won’t be around forever so you’ll have to be quick if you want to give them a taste.

And, the dips will only be around as long as stocks last.

Here is the full list of items and their prices hitting menus today:

But if your favourite items are the classic McNuggets, then you might be able to get your hands on some for free.

McDonald’s is giving away free chicken nuggets to 50,000 fans.

The giveaway comes as the fast food chain’s iconic McNugget celebrates its 40th birthday.

But you’ll need to have the app to enter the competition to be in with a chance of winning.

It’s free to download from the Google Store or Apple App Store.

The first 50,000 entrants to the competition will receive 4,000 reward points which can be exchanged for six McNuggets.

But customers will need to be quick as the competition closes on May 23.

How can I save on my McDonald’s order?

There are plenty of ways you can save on your next trip to McDonald’s.

But always keep in mind menu prices can vary across different restaurants – so perhaps check prices online first to avoid getting a surprise.

You can get freebies on your birthday if you’ve got the My McDonald’s app – it’s free to download and you’ll only need a few quick details to get set up.

Remember to log your date of birth on the app though, otherwise you’ll miss out.

You can get a Big Mac and fries for just £1.99 as well if you fill out the quick feedback survey following your last visit.

All you’ll need is your receipt which should have been issued no more than 60 days after your visit.

How do I find my nearest McDonald’s?

If you’re planning on taking a trip to McDonald’s, you’ll want to know where your nearest branch is.

The chain has a restaurant locator tool on its website you can use to find your nearest one – and check what time it opens.

Bear in mind that McDonald’s serves breakfast every day until 11am.

After that, the menu switches to the normal menu serving meals such as burgers, chicken nuggets and more.
