Mbappe, 24, was recalled to the team by manager Luis Enrique for the first time since he sensationally announced that he would not be signing a new contract.
The forward won the penalty just eight minutes after being introduced to the game and he was able to convert by sending Guillaume Restes the wrong way.
In celebration, Mbappe jumped the advertisement boards and ran towards the fans as he screamed “I am staying here, I am staying here.”
The Parisians had been trying to sell the forward this summer as they do not want to lose him on a free transfer next year.
During this time Mbappe had previously been exiled from the main squad as he trained with the club’s “undesirables”.
His shirts had also been removed from the club shop as the club tried to force him into accepting a deal to leave.
It has been suggested that Real Madrid are the favourites to sign him and could do so without a transfer fee in ten months’ time.
PSG had accepted an offer from Saudi Arabia, but Mbappe turned down a reported deal of an incredible £11.6million a week by Al-Hilal.

Mbappe’s jubilant declaration does not confirm that he will be staying at the Parc des Princes for the long term.
Although The Times has suggested that Mbappe could sign a new deal at PSG so the club would receive a fee for him when he leaves.
However, BILD have reported that Real are also considering an approach for Mbappe at the end of the window.
The report claims that the Spanish giants will offer PSG £103m in a bid for a top replacement for Karim Benzema.
Mbappe is PSG’s all-time top scorer with 213 goals in 261 appearances.
He has also contributed 98 assists.
The Ligue 1 champions have splashed £144m this summer as they look to rebuild the team following the exits of Lionel Messi and Neymar.
The club has signed Goncalo Ramos from Benfica, Kang-in Lee from RCD Mallorca, Lucas Hernandez from Bayern Munich, Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona and Sporting Lisbon’s Manuel Ugarte.
