Chelsea have experienced a disastrous campaign, sitting 11th in the Premier League despite having spent £600million on new signings.
According to the Mail, Pochettino wants a goalkeeper, midfielder and striker ahead of next season.
The 51-year-old accepts, however, that the Blues will need to trim their squad this summer before adding fresh talent.
Chelsea’s enormous squad caused headaches for previous boss Graham Potter, with Cobham’s dressing room having had to be expanded after players had to get changed in the corridor.
Kepa Arrizabalaga has been back between the sticks this season, with Edouard Mendy in a contract stalemate with the Blues.
Pochettino wants a new keeper, and Inter Milan star Andre Onana has been linked.
Meanwhile the Blues are expected to target another midfielder to play alongside Enzo Fernandez, with N’Golo Kante having struggled for fitness and Mateo Kovacic linked with Manchester City.
Pochettino, who had Harry Kane at Tottenham, will then hope to recruit an out and out No9.
