Matt Damon has been spotted at the Royal Queensland Show (aka Ekka) at Brisbane Showgrounds.
The Hollywood superstar told organisers on Tuesday it wasn’t his first time at the annual agriculture show, which has now become a “family tradition”.
“I love it here, this is our second year in a row coming,” he told the cameras in a clip posted on social media.

“It’s turned into a family tradition, so thanks for having us back.”
The 52-year-old actor added words of praise for those working at the event, which includes rides, showbags, food stands, live farming displays and the famous strawberry sundaes.
“Shout out to everyone at the Ekka, you guys do a great job,” he said before signing off.

Damon, who is currently off filming projects due to the Hollywood actors’ strike, attended with his wife Luciana Barroso, 47, and three of their daughters Isabella, 17, Gia, 14, and Stella, 12.
The family are no strangers to Australia, spending plenty of time in Byron Bay with friends Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky.

It’s been long rumoured Damon owns a home near the Marvel action hero, who moved to the NSW coastal town in 2015, after making the decision to move his family back home from LA full-time.
The Good Will Hunting star and his family also spent some time living in Sydney during the pandemic, while Damon filmed Thor: Love & Thunder with Hemsworth.
The two A-listers and former People Magazine Sexiest Man Alive winners became friends early in Hemsworth’s career.
“Matt’s just a normal guy who has the movie-star thing figured out,” the Aussie actor previously told GQ.
“We became friends around the time I started to work, and I’ve really benefited from watching how he handles himself.”
While Barroso and the girls largely stay out of the limelight, they all appeared alongside their dad earlier this year at the premiere of AIR, his on-screen repairing with childhood friend Ben Affleck.
