Greenwood was one of three Getafe players to be dismissed as they ended the match with eight men.
Speaking in his post-match press conference, Bordalas explained that Greenwood told the referee: “Don’t f*** with me.”
The Getafe boss also claimed that was the reason the 22-year-old was given his marching orders.
Greenwood was dismissed by referee Jorge Figueroa Vazquez for dissent after a heated exchange with the official.
He had berated Vazquez after claiming he had been fouled four times.
Replays of the incident appeared to show Greenwood using the word “f***” as he argued his case.
He was given his matching orders just minutes into the second half, with Getafe already trailing 2-0 and down to 10 men.
Juanmi Latasa had already been dismissed during the opening 45 minutes.

Meanwhile, Damian Suarez was later shown another straight red card as Getafe imploded in their return to league action.
Greenwood’s red comes after he emerged as a transfer target for Barcelona last week.
The Spanish giants are reportedly eyeing up a £40million move for the winger, but face competition from Atletico Madrid.
