Marvel star Jonathan Majors has shared via his attorney what he claims to be text messages from his alleged assault victim, which he hopes will prove his innocence following his New York City arrest.
Majors’ attorney Priya Chaudhry claimed to Page Six in a statement overnight that the woman at the centre of the assault allegations against Majors sent the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania actor multiple text messages after his arrest over the weekend “admitting that she was the one who used physical force against him.”
Screenshots of the alleged messages obtained by the outlet, which Chaudhry claims were sent by the unidentified woman, show the sender assuring Majors they would “make sure nothing happens about this” as they “told them it was [their] fault for trying to grab [his] phone.”

“I love you,” they added.
Three hours later, after the 33-year-old Creed III star did not respond, screenshots show the sender wrote they said “point blank” the alleged strangulation “did not occur” and “should be removed immediately.”
The woman also, according to the alleged text messages, claimed she was pushing for charges not to be filed against Majors by the district attorney.
Chaudhry reiterated Majors’ denial of the allegations made against him, telling the outlet the actor “completely denies assaulting the woman.”

Over the weekend, Majors was arrested in New York City after officers responded to a 911 call.
A woman, who police said had minor injuries to her head and neck, had told the authorities she had been assaulted, and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Majors was arrested without incident, and arraigned in Manhattan Criminal Court on six counts of assault in the third degree, three counts of attempted assault in the third degree, and two counts of harassment.
Majors, through Chaudhry, has maintained his innocence, and Chaudhry claimed Majors was actually the victim.

Chaudhry said in a statement one day after Majors’ arrest: “We are quickly gathering and presenting evidence to the District Attorney with the expectation that all charges will be dropped imminently.”
“This evidence includes video footage from the vehicle where this episode took place, witness testimony from the driver and others who both saw and heard the episode, and most importantly, two written statements from the woman recanting these allegations.”
Majors has shot to fame with his recent work in several major studio films.
In Creed III, he played Damian Anderson opposite director and co-star Michael B. Jordan.
He also signed a multi-picture deal with Marvel, where he plays the villain Kang the Conqueror, most recently appearing as the character in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and in the television series Loki before that.
