In it, the cash-savvy pros explained how to make the huge savings with five schemes currently open.
Supermarket savings stamp schemes encourage year-long saving for Christmas, yet it’s possible to get the year’s bonus in just one day, said experts.
Sainsbury’s Christmas Club Card pays a pays a flat £2.50 bonus for every £50 saved.
This means you can save £500 to get the maximum free £25 bonus.
You can activate and save onto the card at Sainsbury’s in-store checkouts and self-service tills.
And it can also be used both in-store and online at Sainsbury’s and Argos, experts.
Most supermarkets pay out the bonus based on the total amount you’ve saved by a specific day or month.
But the money pros advised shoppers to put cash in just before so they will add a small percentage on top – around 3 to 6 per cent.
And the experts added that it wasn’t just Sainsbury’s that could net you huge savings.
Some supermarkets only allow stamps to be redeemed at set points in the year, while others will let you spend at any time.
The experts wrote: “With Tesco‘s Christmas Saver account, if you topped it up with £200 before the deadline, you’d get a £12 bonus added on top.
“This would come in your November Clubcard statement in two parts – a standard voucher equal to the amount you saved, plus a bonus voucher, which you could then use to pay in store or online.”
Meanwhile, those who shop at Asda can boost their saved Christmas cash by up to 5.35 per cent of what they deposit.
Their saving scheme gives tiered cashback depending what you save.
You get a £1 bonus if you save £30 to £79, all the way up to a £15 bonus if you save £280 or more.
And if you use Asda’s rewards app you could earn an extra bonus of up to £5 via the Christmas Saver Cashpot.
Iceland and Co-op are also offering saving bonuses over the Christmas period.
