Maroon 5’s Adam Levine pays tribute to wife Behati Prinsloo mid-performance months after alleged cheating scandal

Maroon 5‘s Adam Levine has paid tribute to his wife Behati Prinsloo and their three children while kicking off the band’s Las Vegas residency, just months after he was embroiled in an alleged cheating scandal.

Performing with his band at Park MGM’s Dolby Live Theatre on Friday, Levine took the time to tell the crowd how he “used to do this for myself, and now I do this for them” – “them” being his wife of eight years Prinsloo, daughters Dusty Rose, six, Gio Grace, five, and their newborn baby, who was born in January.

But it was precisely this newborn baby who was at the centre of these cheating allegations – but not for the reason you’d think.

Instagram model Sumner Stroh came forward last year, claiming that not only had she had a year-long affair with the Maroon 5 frontman in 2021, but that he had also recently messaged her with a strange request preceding the birth of his last child.

“He said, ‘OK, serious question. I’m having another baby and if it’s [a] boy I really wanna name it Sumner. You ok with that? DEAD serious,'” she revealed in a TikTok video.

Stroh claimed that the alleged affair happened when she was young and that she was “exploited” by Levine, who allegedly told her that he and his wife’s “marriage was over”.

“Embarrassed I was involved with a man with this utter lack of remorse and respect,” Stroh had captioned the bombshell TikTok video.

Levine later denied the allegations, saying he “did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period in my life.”

“I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner,” he shared on his Instagram Stories one day after the shock allegations were made public.

“In certain instances it became inappropriate; I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family,” he said at the time.

He added that he took “full responsibility” for his transgressions and will now be focused on repairing his family bond, especially with his then-incoming new baby, whose name Levine and Prinsloo have yet to reveal.

“My wife and my family is all I care about in this world,” Levine continued in his statement at the time.

“To be this naïve and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it. And we will get through it together.”
