Aussie actress Margot Robbie might be one of the biggest stars in Hollywood now.
But before she got her big overseas break, she took on a number of unpaid commercials to get her face out there.
The Barbie star, 33, told W Magazine this week that she once did a commercial for restaurant chain Hooters – appearing in the background – and was offered a job there.

“I don’t really know what the first acting gig that I booked was,” Robbie told the publication.
“I did some unpaid commercials — I was in the background of a Hooters commercial.”
“At the end of the day, the manager of Hooters came up and offered me a job. I said, “I think I’m going to wish for more.”

Fresh from the film’s Golden Globe Awards nominations domination, Barbie has scored an all-time record 18 Critics Choice Awards nominations, including one each for Robbie as both star and producer.
The Greta Gerwig-directed box office smash is up for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress (Robbie), Best Supporting Actor (Ryan Gosling), Best Supporting Actress (America Ferrera), Best Original Screenplay, Best Comedy and others.
Meanwhile, Zac Efron also told W Magazine that one of his first acting jobs was on the hit medical drama ER, that starred George Clooney and Noah Wyle.

“My character had a bad gunshot wound and was tossed on the sidewalk in front of the hospital… I’m pretty sure I died,” Efron told the publication.
Efron, 36, is next set to star as professional wrestler Kevin Von Erich in The Iron Claw.
He completely transformed his body for the role, adding massive muscle power and a wig.
“In the best way possible, I did not look anything like me. It was jarring at first, but we kind of put it together piece by piece,” Efron told The Hollywood Reporter at the film’s premiere recently.
It will be released in Aussie cinemas later this month.
