The England star missed United training after back-to-back nights out in the Northern Ireland capital.
It is believed the England star told boss Erik ten Hag he was too ill on Friday, despite being spotted in Thompsons Garage nightclub hours earlier.
He was subsequently dropped for the FA Cup trip to Newport with the club stating he was ill.
However he is now set to be disciplined and will hold talks with Ten Hag, who said: “It’s an internal matter. I will deal with it.”
Rashford, 26, is facing a fine of two weeks’ wages of £650,000.
He arrived at Carrington on Monday morning in his Lamborghini.
Rashford trained on Wednesday and was pictured in Lavery’s Bar that evening ahead of a planned day off.
He is believed to have been in Northern Ireland to see his pal and former academy team-mate Ro-Shaun Williams, who is signed for Larne FC.
Ten Hag vs Rashford

MARCUS RASHFORD is facing the wrath of Erik ten Hag after reporting himself as too ill to train following a night out in Belfast.
It is not the first time Ten Hag has had to deal with discipline issues with Rashford.
The first came in December 2022, when Rashford was dropped against Wolves after reporting late for training.
Rashford came on to score the winner then, but said at the time he had “made a mistake”.
But this season Rashford has challenged the manager’s authority again after seeing a trip to Chinawhite labelled “unacceptable” following defeat in the Manchester derby in October.
This latest test comes at a time when Ten Hag’s authority is under scrutiny as Sir Jim Ratcliffe considers the changes he wants to make at Old Trafford.

The striker was then seen in Thompsons on Thursday and flew home by private jet the following morning.
It is not the first time this season Rashford has got into hot water over his partying antics.
Ten Hag slammed the forward following his night out after United were beaten 3-0 by Manchester City in the derby in October.
And in December 2022, Ten Hag dropped Rashford against Wolves after he overslept and was late for a meeting.
Alan Shearer pleaded with Rashford not to waste his talent following his absence at Newport.
The BBC pundit said: “If it’s an internal matter, you’d think something is up.
“There’s a huge talent in there with Marcus Rashford. We’ve seen him be disciplined last season when he was late to a meeting before a game but something is clearly wrong – either at home or in his relationship with the football club.
“He can’t keep doing this, he can’t keep wasting his talent because it’s not right.
“He needs strong management, someone to get hold of him and tell him there’ll be huge regrets come the end of his career if he continues doing this.
“You can’t keep doing it, it needs sorting now. Thirty goals last season, four this season. When I see him play, it looks like he’s got the world on his shoulders so it needs sorting now because he can’t really deal with it.”
