Egano remains at the City of Imus Doctors Hospital, where he underwent surgery, and has been joined by his trainer.
The bantamweight is now 7-1, with three knockouts while fell to his first defeat in five bouts.
Pacquiao laster said: “Boxing is truly a dangerous sport and the boxers deserve nothing but respect as they put their lives on the line.
“Other sports you play, but you don’t play boxing.”
Pacquiao, boxing’s only champion in eight weights, retired in August 2021 following defeat to Cuban Yordenis Ugas, 36.
