MANCHESTER UNITED are in danger of missing out on Kim Min-jae, according to reports.
The Red Devils identified the centre-back as a target last season after being impressed by his performances in Napoli‘s title-winning campaign.

United are understood to be willing to meet the 26-year-old’s £43million release clause next month, but they’ll reportedly face competition for his services from Bayern Munich.
That’s according to Fabrizio Romano, who claims the South Korea international is on the brink of agreeing personal terms with the German giants.
He tweeted: “Understand Bayern have presented their project to Kim Min-jae this week and the agreement on personal terms is now close.
“Kim, tempted by Bayern as talks are now advancing fast. Man United remain interested but it was never done.
“Release clause available in July.”
Kim joined Napoli from Turkish giants Fenerbahce last summer and was left stunned by the reported interest in his services less than six months after the move.
He told You Quiz on the Block last December: There are a lot of transfer stories around me.
“But I’ve only been at Napoli for six months.

“I’ve avoided interviews, and one of the reasons is that the rumours about me disturb me.’
United boss Erik ten Hag has seemingly lined up Kim as a replacement for Harry Maguire, who fell down the pecking order at Old Trafford last season.
The Dutchman guided the Red Devils to a third-place finish in his first season at Old Trafford but plans to make wholesale changes to his squad this summer.
In February, he said: “If we want to restore Manchester United, we need top players but also double in each position because we want to act in so many competitions.
“You saw it in the last game how we have, in certain positions, a lack of quality.
“That can’t be if you want to compete for the highest [trophies].
“I’m here to manage the team, get the best out of them, and of course I have a job in bringing the right players in.
“There is a lot of communication about that with the board and management of the club but I am here to achieve the sporting aims and goals, not the finance.”
