Man Utd still looking to offload two forgotten players in coming days despite end of transfer window

MANCHESTER UNITED are still trying to offload two forgotten players – Eric Bailly and Donny van de Beek, according to reports.

The Red Devils have looked to sell a number of several fringe players this summer.

Fred, Alex Telles and Dean Henderson have all departed on permanent transfers.

And Erik ten Hag is still hoping to get rid of Van De Beek and Bailly as they are not part of his long-term plans.

Both players have attracted interest but the Premier League window slamming shut means there are fewer suitors for the pair.

However the Saudi clubs have until Thursday to complete transfers so could try to lure Prem outcasts to the Kingdom.

Bailly, who has less than a year remaining on their contract, was reportedly in advanced talks to link up with former team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr.

Besiktas were understood to have agreed terms with the centre-back and with Turkish clubs still able to make signings, a move could be on the cards.

And United are now said to be willing to sell the Ivory Coast international for just £2m.

Van de Beek was linked with a deadline day switch to Luton, with Ligue Un side Lorient also eyeing a loan deal.

Galatasaray are believed to be interested in signing the midfielder and have until September 15 to complete his signing.

United had set Van de Beek’s asking price at £20m but they could be willing to lower that figure with time running out to sell.
