Man Utd star Brandon Williams in furious X-rated response after being blamed for Dortmund goal

MANCHESTER UNITED star Brandon Williams furiously swore at team-mate Tom Heaton on the pitch after getting the blame for conceding a goal.

The pair lined up together in the first half of the fiery pre-season defeat to Borussia Dortmund last night.

And a mix-up at the back allowed Donyell Mallen to score his second goal in 18 SECONDS to turn the game on its head just before half-time.

Mallen had just volleyed past Heaton to equalise for Dortmund.

And straight after the restart, the ex-Burnley goalkeeper played a tricky pass to centre-back Victor Lindelof on the edge of the box.

The Swede in turn tried to play the ball on to Donny van de Beek but former United loanee Marcel Sabitzer intercepted and fed Malen to slot home, with the goalscorer onside due to Williams’ positioning.

That prompted Heaton to let rip at Williams, blaming the left-back for not getting out quickly enough.

But Williams was having none of it and hit back at Heaton, shouting: “My fault? It was your f*** up!”

The bust-up between Williams and Heaton was far from the only heated drama in the so-called friendly.

Earlier in the first half, Erik ten Hag dragged Omari Forson off after he got into an angry shoving match with Karim Adeyemi and Julian Ryerson and swung an arm following a kick out at the latter.

Ten Hag berated the youngster on the sidelines as he lectured him and sent Antony on with 38 minutes on the clock.

Heaton was replaced by new No1 Andre Onana at half-time – but that did not end the verbals between Red Devils team-mates.

Harry Maguire’s botched clearance nearly resulted in another Borussia Dortmund goal – and Onana was not afraid to let the former captain know about his error.

Youssoufa Moukoko struck the 71st-minute winner for the German giants.

And that ended a rough trip to the United States in pre-season.

After beating Arsenal in New York, United have lost their last three matches to Wrexham, Real Madrid and now Dortmund.

Ten Hag raged: “All of a sudden they gave two goals away and they really were giveaways.

“So that was already annoying but the last half an hour was bad, was a poor performance. We didn’t follow the rules at all.

“We have to keep the control and you have to keep the responsibility on the ball and it was the same on the 3-2 for Dortmund, so it can’t happen and it’s unforgivable even if it’s a friendly.”
