Man Utd ‘reignite transfer interest in Arsenal and Newcastle target’ to strengthen shaky defensive ranks

MANCHESTER UNITED are interested in signing Galatasaray right-back Sacha Boey, according to reports.

The defender has impressed for the Turkish outfit, helping them to win the Super Lig last season before playing in their 3-2 triumph at Old Trafford last month.

And he has caught the eye of a number of Premier League teams in his short career.

United are monitoring Boey and could make a move at the end of the season, according to Turkish outlet Sporx.

Brighton and Burnley are rumoured to be interested in the 23-year-old.

Arsenal were also linked to the £17.5m-rated star earlier this year along with Newcastle.

Boey joined Galatasaray from Rennes in 2021 for just £1m but his value has soared after two impressive seasons in Turkey.

He has been praised for his pace and crossing ability with Galatasaray performing well in the Champions League.

Erik ten Hag appears to be keen to strengthen his defence after shipping 16 goals in 10 Premier League games.

United are also without right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka for another month due to injury, with Diogo Dalot playing every game.
