Man Utd ‘in transfer talks with Barcelona over prodigy’ who’s on verge of first team place and holds incredible record

BARCELONA are allegedly in talks to re-sign a Manchester United prodigy that holds an incredible record.

The 19-year-old Marc Jurado enjoyed nine years at the LaLiga club’s famed La Masia from 2011.

But he rejected a new deal at the Nou Camp in 2020 and headed to England with Manchester United.

Then, 12 months later, he penned his first professional contract at Old Trafford.

Right-back Jurado has since become a prominent figure for United’s Under-21 side, scoring three goals and producing four assists last term.

He has also been capped twice for Spain U20s and even had a taste of the first-team set-up under Erik ten Hag.

Jurado was named as substitute in April but is still yet to make a senior appearance.

Now he may never play for the Red Devils, according to Sport.

They claim that Barcelona have entered negotiations with United over a potential transfer deal to bring him back to his old side.

Their report states that they are looking to negotiate a fee for the teenager based on a series of performance-related objectives.

Barca chiefs want to put Jurado into their youth side, which is managed by former star Rafael Marquez.

And it remains to be seen whether the ace is ready to stay at United or make the move back.

Jurado previously hit the headlines when he scored the fastest recorded youth goal ever – just five seconds after kick off!

That came back in 2013 in a U10 game for Barca against Viladecans when straight from kick off, the electric defender intercepted a pass, before racing past two players and coolly slotting the ball past the keeper.
