It means Man Utd have now lost eight of their opening 15 games in all competitions this season.
And manager Ten Hag is coming under increased pressure, with club legend Gary Neville even hinting he could be axed.
But the mockery escalated to new levels when opticians Specsavers tweeted about the Red Devils.
They said: “Man Utd fans, if you bring your glasses to any of our stores tomorrow, we’ll swap them for a blindfold so you don’t have to watch this anymore.”
Fans reacted to the post in their droves as they were left astonished by the savage words.
One said: “Even specsavers are having a pop .”
Another added: “Admin woke up and chose violence today .”
A third replied: “ You win the internet today! .”
