MANCHESTER UNITED supporters seem terrified on Twitter that boss Erik ten Hag could leave the club as he “deserves better”.
The 53-year-old enjoyed a rollercoaster first season in charge at Old Trafford as he secured the Carabao Cup and a return to the Champions League.

But Ten Hag’s also suffered a humiliating 7-0 defeat at rivals Liverpool and finished 14 points adrift of title winners Man City.
He is desperate to bolster his squad this summer in a number of positions in order to try and close that gap ahead of their tricky start to the 2023/24 campaign.
He has made Tottenham striker Harry Kane one of his top targets while he is also looking to make a move for Atalanta’s Rasmus Hojlund to strengthen his attack.
Midfield is another area he wants to strengthen, but what appeared to be a done deal to bring in Mason Mount from Chelsea now appears to have stalled.
And Ten Hag was allegedly fuming after Napoli defender Kim Min-jae reversed his decision to join United after Bayern Munich hijacked the move.
He has been left frustrated by United’s lack of transfer activity, which has arisen in part due to the uncertainty surrounding the club’s ownership.
The takeover process is still ongoing despite claims last week the Qatari group was set to complete a deal, and the Glazers have been unwilling to spend money on players given they are about to relinquish control of the club.
As a result United could miss out on the likes of Declan Rice and other top players that he hoped to bring in.

And now fans are fearing the worst and believe that the Dutchman could walk away unless things get sorted fast.
One tweeted: “I won’t be surprised if Erik Ten Hag walk. I wouldn’t begrudge him this. He deserves better.”
Another wrote: “Could genuinely see Ten Hag walking from this s***show of a situation, the delay with this takeover is DISGUSTING.”
As another commented: “This is getting out of hand. We already have some budget. Why don’t they use it to book the top targets?”
While another said: “I would applaud him if he walked. A shame but who could not understand it?”
And with Carlo Ancelotti’s future at Real Madrid reportedly in doubt, some believe he could even go there.
“He might leave us for Madrid” tweeted one.
While another added: “He should definitely go for Real if the Ancelotti news is true.”
