Man Utd fans fume club ‘has no pull’ as transfer target Adrien Rabiot signs new contract with Juventus

MANCHESTER UNITED fans have been left fuming after transfer target Adrien Rabiot penned a new deal at Juventus.

The midfielder’s contract was set to expire this summer and he was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford.

However, the 28-year-old will stay in Turn after agreeing a one-year extension.

Man Utd reportedly met with Rabiot’s mum and representative Veronique twice as they looked to seal a move.

But instead he has chosen to commit to Juventus, even though the club will play in the Conference League next season after being hit with a ten-point deduction for breaching financial rules.

United fans have been left raging after missing out on the Frenchman.

One tweeted: “So no Rabiot. Damn we got no pull.”

A second joked: “Rabiot heard the Man Utd link and signed an extension same time.”

Another added: “No Mason Mount, no Rabiot, United have zero pull.”

It’s been a tough start to the transfer window for Erik ten Hag with the club struggling to strike deals for new players.

United have seen three bids declined for Chelsea ace Mount.

They could now walk away from negotiations and aim for other targets.

The Red Devils are also in danger of missing out on Harry Kane with Bayern Munich swooping for the Tottenham striker.
