MANCHESTER UNITED fans demanded Erik ten Hag change tactics to suit Marcus Rashford after just 30 MINUTES of their Premier League opener.
United hosted Wolves in their curtain raiser and played Rashford through the middle in the absence of injured newbie Rasmus Hojlund.
But the England international managed a shocking six touches in the first half, the lowest in his side.
So fans were quick to beg Ten Hag to move Rashford back to his favoured position on the wing.
One said: “We need Rashford at the wing.”
Another added: “We might need Rashford back on the wing. This ain’t it.”
One agreed: “Get Rashford on the left, that man hates being up top.”
Another asked: “Why do they try and force Rashford into a position where he cant thrive.”
United benched striker Anthony Martial and winger Jadon Sancho to start Rashford up front with Antony and Alejandro Garnacho out wide.
Hojlund injured himself in pre-season with his former club Atalanta, before making a £72million move to Old Trafford.

The 20-year-old could miss the first couple of games as he builds up fitness.
It has also emerged that during his medical an MRI scan revealed he has a back problem that can lead to stress fractures in young players.
It is believed he may have his game time limited for the start of season to allow the injury to recover and not develop into anything serious.
