MANCHESTER UNITED fans were taken by surprise after learning Kobbie Mainoo is the brother of Love Island star Jordan Mainoo-Hames.
Kobbie, 18, has risen to fame this season after breaking into United’s first team, which has led to immense praise by manager Erik ten Hag and a place in supporters’ hearts.

An old tweet from Jordan has emerged with him congratulating Kobbie
However, the midfielder is not the only celebrity in the family as Jordan beat his younger brother to it by appearing in the fifth season of Love Island in 2019.
The 28-year-old entered the Mallorca villa in week three of the UK hit reality show.
The older Mainoo quickly got into a relationship with fellow contestant Anna Vakili before the couple separated as he started eyeing up another islander in India Reynolds.
That saw Jordan getting swiftly booted off the show via a public vote.
He is now working in fashion and has taken to the catwalk as a model for Vogue, Louis Vuitton and other esteemed brands.
And despite the fact both brothers have been in the public sphere for quite some time, fans are only just connecting the dots.
Many people finally put two and two together after finding an old tweet from Jordan, which read: “Proud big bro moment [for real].”
That was when Kobbie made his United debut for the Under-18s three years ago.
