MARKS & Spencer has made a huge change to its grocery items, and shoppers will be happy.
The posh supermarket has extended the price lock 100 of its food and home essential items.

Shoppers will be contacted from today (April 12) to be told about the extension.
The shopping essentials that are included in the price lock include easy peeler satsumas for £2, long grain rice for 65p and 1KG of sugar for £1.
Of the cupboard essentials, the lock in includes washing up liquid for £1 and shower gel, also for £1.
The price lock is being extended across all M&S stores and shoppers will be able to make use of the deals now.
There is no end date yet but the supermarket said it’ll most likely be early July.
We have asked M&S for the full list of items and will update the piece once we know more.
But here’s a list of some of the products that are being price locked:

Alex Freudmann, managing director at M&S Food, said: “Listening to customers right now, value remains firmly top of the list.
“That’s why our priority is delivering our trusted value promise – offering the best possible quality at the best possible price.
“By extending our price lock until Summer, we’re giving customers certainty on the products they love to shop.
Of course, do always shop around for the best deal as you might be able to find a better bargain elsewhere.
It comes as Aldi was named as the UK’s cheapest supermarket in March by consumer champion Which?.
However, one smart shopper did their weekly food shop at M&S and couldn’t believe how cheap it was.
Not only was it cheaper than she expected, but she thought the quality of the food was impressive too.
Gi took to TikTok to share her thoughts on food shopping at M&S, compared to shopping in Aldi.
She said: “Who knew that we would live in a world where M&S is cheaper than Aldi?
“Well today I’m putting it to the test and I’m going to do my full food shop here and see how much it comes to.”
Ways to save on food bills
It’s always a good ideas to look for ways to save on your supermarket weekly shop, regardless of where you go.
For example, there are cheap food clubs run by local community groups or charities floating around.
They’re different to food banks because you don’t need to be referred by anyone to join one.
These clubs link up with local supermarkets, who donate food nearing their sell-by date. They are usually run from public places, such as church halls.
There’s also food waste apps to make use of.
The Too Good To Go app, for instance, matches you with local food outlets that have food left at the end of the day to sell for less.
You pay from £1 to £7 for a ‘magic’ bag or box from a local business that contains a surprise mix of products.
Morrisons does a “Magic box’”, which usually costs around £3.09 and will contain at least £10 worth of food.
