Major supermarket announces when it will be stocking Prime energy drink with five flavours set to hit the shelves

SAINSBURY’s will be the next supermarket to stock KSI’s in-demand Prime Hydration drinks.

Bottles of the mega popular beverage will hit the shelves across the UK on February 21.

The chain confirmed it will sell five 500ml flavours, including a limited edition Mango and Orange variety for £2.50.

The others are Lemon Lime, Blue Raspberry, Tropical Punch and Ice Pop and will cost £2.

A Sainsbury’s spokesperson said: “We know our customers actively seek the latest in product innovation.

“We are excited to be launching the following Prime Hydration products in store from Tuesday, February 21.”

Prime was launched by YouTube stars and boxing rivals Olajide Olatunji – better known as KSI – and Logan Paul.

The influencers, who between them have 50 million subscribers, work in collaboration with supplier and distributor Congo Brands.

The sports drinks contain 10 per cent coconut water, electrolytes, B vitamins and BCAAs – and no sugar or caffeine.

Each bottle is around 20 calories.

When Prime launched in January 2022, it was sold exclusively in Asda and on the official website.

Shoppers rushed to get their hands on the products, forcing stores to implement customer limits amid chaotic scenes.

It has since been stocked in Aldi and Spar, as well as small independent shops at hugely inflated prices.

Earlier this week, Morrisons announced it will start selling the drinks but has not yet confirmed when.

It has also not revealed which flavours will be available in stores or the price.

During a promotional tour, Paul revealed he and KSI had cleared $250million in retail sales.
