Major McDonald’s menu shake-up coming in DAYS with six all-new items – and fans say it’s ‘the best yet’

MCDONALD’S is making a major change to its menu this week, adding six all-new items.

Fans of the fast-food chain have described the shakeup as “the best yet” and are itching to give it a go.

There are six completely new additions, including two McFlurrys and two burgers.

Each is specially picked out for the autumn season, using new flavours.

Chilli cheese bites are also making a comeback and the chain is introducing a nine-piece chicken McNugget meal for the first time.

Maccies fans will be able to get their hands on the selection from Wednesday, October 18.

There are two never-before-seen burgers hitting menus next week.

The Philly Cheese Stack is a Maccies take on the classic Philly Cheese Steak sandwich.

It’s made up of two beef patties topped with a cheese sauce, two cheese slices, both grilled and crispy onions, pickles and is served in a toasted bun.

The McCrispy BBQ Smokehouse is a fresh twist on the fancy chicken burger which hit menus for the first time in 2022.

It contains a crispy chicken breast fillet with a smoky BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, red onion, and lettuce, all in a fancy looking sourdough-style sesame-topped bun.

For those after a warmer treat, the new shake-up also includes a toffee apple pie.

It’s a crispy pastry filled with a spiced apple compote and toffee sauce, with toffee pieces.

Fans will also be able to get their hands on a toffee apple doughnut, which includes a toffee apple filling and is topped with crumble pieces and toffee sauce.

A M&M’s Halloween McFlurry is also being added for the first time.

It’s made up of soft dairy ice cream swirled with M&Ms, Halloween sugar shapes and is topped with Galaxy chocolate sauce.

It doesn’t stop there though, there’s also a Twix toffee apple McFlurry which is swirled with Twix biscuit and chocolate pieces then topped with toffee apple sauce.

The big menu change was announced earlier this week and diners have been quick to share their thoughts.

Writing on social media, one said: “I want everything on that menu.”

Another simply wrote “omg best yet”, while another commented “I want it all”.

A fourth said: “McDonald’s UK actually bringing out some interesting new items? I’m shook.”

While a fifth posted: “M&Ms McFlurry! I repeat! M&Ms McFlurry!!!!!! This better be true.”

And another said: “Now this is a Maccies glow up, the Philly steak burger.”

Others commented “McDonald’s have heard my demands” and “those burgers look unreal”.

If you want to try these additions then don’t hang around because they will only be on menus until November 21.

How do I find my nearest McDonald’s?

If you’re planning on taking a trip to McDonald’s, you’ll want to know where your nearest branch is.

The chain has a restaurant locator tool on its website you can use to find your nearest one – and check what time it opens.

Bear in mind that McDonald’s serves breakfast every day until 11am.

After that, the menu switches to the normal menu serving meals such as burgers, chicken nuggets and more.

Meanwhile, McDonald’s has issued a warning to all customers playing its Monopoly game – and has asked to redeem the stickers before the clock ticks out.

Plus, a foodie has told how she makes her own McDonald’s McMuffin using a common household item.
